Reminiscing… Part 2

1st March 2013

I lived in Colorado for 4 years and yet, life there seems more unreal than anything else. It’s like I was there but not really. Possibly the most unconnected four years of my life; yet somehow, I don’t really mind. Right around the time I decided to move out I tried my best to be somewhat proactive… for once, I wanted to make some memories in Colorado for myself. That was also around the time I started to take photography more seriously. The one below was taken around that time and possibly one of my all time favorites so far.

As uneventful as Colorado Springs may have been for me, surprisingly there were also some places that may even be able to beat New York City… if you are looking for a true hippie town, you should totally swing by Manitou Springs sometime. Starting from it’s Penny Arcade to Sunday night Acid Jazz jam at the Ancient Mariner, to local herbal medicine stores to local jewelers and artists… this place is the place to be… aww man, now I’m missing Colorado… or more like Manitou Springs… but well, someday I might be able to swing by that place again, who knows…
